Android-why do I need to learn about the operating system of the most popular handheld devices?

I studied Java web development at school. After graduation, I came to a game company to develop unity 3D and cocos 2d. In the company, I am waiting for nothing, so I don't need to do anything. I occasionally help them write SQL statements and count data!

After waiting for half a month in the company, it's okay, the company's demand business is unclear, and the new graduates cannot understand the demand. I felt that I should learn something else and pass the time for nothing. So I chose Android, which is a recent hot technology.
