OS Updates and large applications
The apps on your phone are almost entirely changed, compared to a year ago. No trim for solid-state drives is enabled
The lack of proper trim support is the main reason why Google's original Nexus 7 tablet is used more slowly. With the appropriate trim support in Android 4.3, updating to Android 4.3 on the Nexus device can solve the problem.
If your old device does not support Android 4.3, you can install the Lagfix application after the root device to add trim support. This application runs in the background with the same Fstrim command as Android 4.3.
