CentOS 6.5 Configuration Rsyslog

Source: Internet
Author: User

CentOS 6 Configuration records the login IP address and log records of all users logged in, very simple and useful tool. Logging is an important tool for SA.

First of all

RPM-UVH bash-4.1.2-33.el6.x86_64.rpm--force Install Rsyslog patch packs, or CentOS 6.5 yum install bash. 4.1.2.33 seems to have integrated this patch package.

Then vim/etc/rsyslog.conf,

Change the local7.*/var/log/boot.log of 61 rows into

local1.*/var/log/history.log
Restart the Rsyslog service.

/etc/init.d/rsyslog restart

Then reproduce the connection, remembering that the default is still the original bash. A little hole.

View History.log to see the logged in user and its operation. Very simple, very useful tool. You know!
