CentOS 6.5 manual Installation Ettercap (graphic)

Description: Before installing, you'd better make sure your network is configured and at least have access to the extranet. This blog is actually one of our experiments, feel a little bit of installation trouble, in this record, you can turn over to see.

1. Before installing, first install Yum Groupinstall "Development tools". This is a development library (Baidu's), used to prepare the Linux compilation environment.

2. Install Wget,wget is a tool that can automatically download files from the network. You can also use Curl to follow the download link.

3. Download the Ettercap installation package with wget. wget http://192.168.1.7/ettercap-0.8.2.tar.gz (this site is our laboratory local area network sharing, we can find the compressed package on the Internet, copy the link to replace the line)

4. Unzip the tarball into the current directory.

5. Take a look at the installation instructions. You can see that there are four dependent packages. We'll install it in turn.

6. Switch to the directory where the dependent packages are located, install the four dependent packages in turn

8.make compilation

9.make Install dependency Package

10.make Clean Clear Create cache file

11. The first dependency package is installed. The other three dependent packages are installed in this way (I can't, too much).

Unzip the curl-7.41.0.tar.gz dependent package, CD to the extracted file directory, and then execute./configure->make->make Install

Unzip the libnet-1.1.6.tar.gz dependent package, CD to the extracted file directory, and then execute./configure->make->make Install

Unzip the luajit-2.0.3.tar.gz dependency package, CD to the extracted file directory, and then execute Make->make install

12. Until four of the dependent packages are loaded, then go back to the Ettercap directory and create the build directory and switch to this directory. Execute cmake. /means to compile something under the first-level directory.

13. Execute cmake. /when it prompts could not to find Curses, then we are going to find this installation package to install. Then execute the cmake. /, until CMake. /Successful execution.

14. Execute CMake again. /, and error, need to install GTK2 software, and clean up the cache file. Then execute the cmake. /。

15. Execute CMake again. /, and error, need to install OpenSSL software, and clean up the cache file. Then execute the cmake. /。

16. Execute CMake again. /, and error, need to install libpcap software, and clean up the cache file. Then execute the cmake. /。

17. Next execute the CMake. /, Configuration succeeded.

18. Then perform make to compile.
