CentOS 7 How to configure virtual IP

In some cases we may need to use the virtual IP (VIP)

First we can use the command:

IP addr

Check the name of the network card currently in use and the current IP.


As shown in the figure above, eno16777736 is the current network card name.

Next modify the configuration file

vi/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eno16777736
or
vi/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-configuration _1
Which file contains the content, which is what?

Found it 

You can add virtual IP later, such as:

ipaddr1=192.168.1.214

Then exit, save.


Reboot the network card.

Systemctl Restart Network

Next, use the command:

IP addr

You'll find one more virtual IP.
