CentOS 7 set static IP Unknown host

Source: Internet
Author: User

After setting the static IP in Centos7, ping the public network, always prompt Unknown host

After some experiments, it turns out to be a nm_controlled problem, namely:

Method 1: When you manually modify the profile settings IP, the value of nm_controlled in the file should be no (nm_controlled=no)

Indicates that the interface will be set up through the configuration file, rather than managed by the network manager

Method 2: Use Network Manager to set the IP, the value of nm_controlled in the file should be Yes (Nm_controlled=yes)

Both of these methods will work.
