CentOS changes to Yum source and system updates

1, first backup/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo

#mv/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo.backup

2. Enter the folder where the Yum source configuration file is located

# cd/etc/yum.repos.d/

3, download 163 of the Yum source configuration file, put into the/etc/yum.repos.d/(before the operation, please do the appropriate backup)

# wget http://mirrors.163.com/.help/CentOS6-Base-163.repo

4. Run Yum Makecache to generate the cache

# yum Makecache

5. Update the system

# yum-y Update

6. Install VIM Editor

# yum-y Install vim*
