CentOS changes yum source and update system

[1] First backup/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo

Mv/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo/etc/yum.repos.d/centos-base.repo.backup

[2] Enter the folder where the Yum source configuration file is located

[Email protected] yum.repos.d]# cd/etc/yum.repos.d/

[3] Download 163 of the Yum source configuration file, put into the/etc/yum.repos.d/(please do the appropriate backup before operation)

[Email protected] yum.repos.d]# wget Http://mirrors.163.com/.help/CentOS6-Base-163.repo

[4] Run Yum Makecache generate cache

[email protected] yum.repos.d]# Yum Makecache

[5] Updating the system

[[email protected] yum.repos.d]# yum-y update

[6] Installing the VIM editor

[Email protected] ~]# yum-y install vim*
