Centos Experiment 5: Set the Host Name

Source: Internet
Author: User

After centos is installed, the default host name is localhost. localdomain. I want to change it to a centos-server.virtual-domain.

Open the/etc/sysconfig/network file. The original content should be as follows:

Networking =Yeshostname= Localhost. localdomain

Change the hostname of the last line to the desired name:

Networking =Yeshostname= Centos-server.virtual-domain

Finally, restart the host (it seems useless to restart the network service, and the host must be restarted). You can see the modified name.
