CentOS Install Tomcat

1. Download Tomcat to official website
http://tomcat.apache.org/download-80.cgi

2. Upload the tar package to the target server usr/local with the FTP tool

3. Unzip to the current directory:

TAR-XZVF apache-tomcat-8.5.8.tar.gz

4. Execute under the/apache-tomcat-8.5.8/bin directory./startup.sh start

5, verify whether the normal start
wget http://localhost:8080

6, remote Access when you need to open the firewall port 8080 to access.

7, configure the firewall, open 80 ports

Firewall-cmd--zone=public--add-port=8080/tcp--permanent

8. Restart the firewall

Firewall-cmd--reload

You can enter ip+:8080 on your computer's browser to access the
