Install CentOS 6.5 with a USB stick, after the installation can only use a U disk to start, the U disk after pulling out will not start.

1. # fdisk-l

Look at which hard disk your system disk is installed on, General/DEV/SDA or/DEV/SDB, such as/DEV/SDA is your hard drive,

2. # Grub-install/dev/sdb

3. # vi/etc/grub.conf

To modify the boot kernel file location

#boot =/DEV/SDA

Default=0

Timeout5

Splashimage= (hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

Hiddenmenu

Title CentOS (2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64)

Root (hd0,0)

...........

This is where the specified kernel exists, which should be the/boot location.
