centos5.3+ opening the firewall port

1. Modify the configuration file

vim /etc/sysconfig/iptables

Add a little bit of content

-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT-m--NEW-m-p--80-j ACCEPT

2. Restart Iptables

service iptables restart
centos7.0+ opening the firewall port

1. Turn on port 80

firewall-cmd--zone=public--add-port=80/tcp--permanent

Command meaning:

–zone #作用域
–add-port=80/tcp #添加端口 in the format: Port/Communication protocol
–permanent #永久生效 without this parameter reboot

2. Restart the firewall

firewall-cmd--reload
