CentOS permanently disables PackageKit background operation

When using CentOS, install the software with Yum and you'll always get this hint:

Existing lock/var/run/yum.pid:another copy is running as PID 3053.Another app is currently holding the Yum lock; Waiting for it to exit ... The other application is:packagekitmemory:37 M RSS (* *) Started:sun Jan 16:11:53 2010-14:44 agostate:sle Eping, pid:3053

It was later discovered that the/etc/yum/pluginconf.d/refresh-packagekit.conf should be changed as follows: 
Enabled=0

It's OK.
