Centos permanently disables running PackageKit in the background. centospackagekit

When you use centos to install software using yum, you will always encounter this prompt:

Existing lock/var/run/yum. pid: another copy is running as pid 3053. another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit... the other application is: PackageKitMemory: 37 m rss (82 mb vsz) Started: Sun Jan 24 16:11:53 2010-agstate: Sleeping, pid: 3053

Later I found that as long as the/etc/yum/pluginconf. d/refresh-packagekit.conf is changed to the following:
Enabled = 0

OK.
