CentOS Proxy Settings

1. Global Proxy settings:

Vi/etc/profile

Add the following:

Http_proxy = Http://username:[email protected]:8080/
Ftp_proxy = Http://username:[email protected]:8080/
Export Http_proxy
Export Ftp_proxy

Proxy settings for 2.yum:

Vi/etc/yum.conf

Add the following:

Proxy = Http://username:[email protected]:8080/

* User name and password can not be filled if not required

Proxy settings for 3.Wget:

Vi/etc/wgetrc

# Proxy
Http_proxy=http://username:[email protected]_ip:port/
Ftp_proxy=http://username:[email protected]_ip:port/

* Reboot System
