Centos resolution Configuration

Modify the command line resolution by configuring the grub. conf file,
Enable/boot/GRUB/grub. conf find the kernel/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.18-3 Ro root =/dev/hda1 HDC = ide-SCSI line, add the parameter VGA = xxx (the value you want to set, see the following table)
640x480 800x600 1024x768x1280
256 769 771 773 775
32 K 784 787 790 793
64 K 785 788 791 794
16 m 786 789 792 795

If the resolution is too high, it cannot be displayed. In the GRUB menu (several seconds after startup), enter the configuration of grub. conf, set a proper value for saving, and restart. If the startup fails due to an inappropriate value, the system lists the recommended resolution information. For more information, see the value in. (The system displays grub. conf only after reading grub. conf according to the set resolution at startup)
