Just installed the CentOS 6.5 version of the virtual machine, today to simply say some of the virtual machine settings and simple instructions.

First of all, I'd like to change my virtual machine language from English to Chinese. After all this morning, I finally got it. Although relatively simple, but there are a lot of small details, a lot of tutorials did not write, so today I simply talk to you.

Here my virtual machine has been changed to Chinese, the first time I set up because I can't wait to change the settings, so there is no screenshot to record, here I will change the Chinese system to English, the process is the same.

As far as I know, if your CentOS is 7 and above version, it should be very simple to modify, in the settings can directly change the language, so, if your CentOS version of the high, you can go directly to set changes. Let me talk about the lower version of how to change your system language,

As you can see, my system is now in Chinese.

Opening your terminal first is the same thing as the black blackboard. A lot of people can't find it, just go to the column of your application to find it. Enter such a statement after opening

Entering SU root will let you enter your machine password.

You enter the password when the screen is not displayed, do not think you do not input up, you are normal input, the input is completed and then press ENTER (this point other blogs did not say, in my own to set up when it really wasted a lot of my time). Your name will be the top of it, root~~~~. This is when you have the root privileges of your system, and this is the time to make changes to your language.

When you enter the locale statement, you will receive the system language you are currently using. I am here in Chinese so is CN, English I remember correctly should be us or other.

Then you can enter the LOCALE-A statement to see the language you can use in your system.

Can see the Chinese that a few can, CN should be China, HK should be Hong Kong, TW should be Taiwan's. You pick one of them to remember his name. Zh_cn.utf8 represents the Chinese simplified, there may be no version name will have some difference, you find out what is the name, you use what name. Take this down.

Then you enter find/-name i18n This statement is to find the file in your system called i18n, and then to see the etc/sysconfig that

Input vi/etc/sysconfig/i18n

The profile will then open

My inside is like this, if you are the top of English

This position should be en_us. UTF-8, this time you just need to change your original name here to the Chinese zh_cn. Utf8 can

When you type the Insert button on the keyboard, you can change the way he enters, and there are two ways to insert one is to replace it on the bottom of the panel.

This is an alternative input, I suggest using substitution, input is relatively convenient. When you change it, you will be able to save and then restart the system, but for a little white, you don't know how to save and exit the file.

If you want to save the exit, you need to press ESC.

Then press: Wq Enter this statement, then press ENTER you will find the preservation of success.

After the normal shutdown of your virtual machine, do not directly close your dialog box.

To select

Shutdown at the bottom of the system. Let him shut down, then open your virtual machine, will prompt you to update your folder name, this time update, you will find that your system has become Chinese. Changing other languages is also the same step, but the code is different.
