CentOS Web Panel installation and configuration tutorial

Compared with virtual hosts, VPS has a unique advantage. However, for users without any Linux experience, it is not easy to configure a complete WEB environment. There are also many WEB environment scripts and methods installed with one click on the Internet. CentOS Web Panel (CWP. Users who have used host 91 should know cPanel. CWP has many function settings, operation methods, and cPanel types, which can be said to be the free version of cPanel. You can even directly import cPanel backup data from CWP.

The CWP installation process is quite simple. You only need to execute several commands to install the complete WEB environment and control panel, and manage the server through WEB interfaces. The following is an installation tutorial:

1. Log on to the server through SSH. If wget is not installed, run the command to install wget.

Yum install wget

2. Switch to the directory/user/local/src.

Cd/usr/local/src

3. Download and execute the installation script.

In general, you only need to execute these three commands in sequence:

Cd/usr/local/src
Wget http://centos-webpanel.com/cwp-latest
Sh cwp-latest

 

 

Then you will see a similar installation interface, and the following work will be handed over to the system. No intervention is required for all work. The download and installation process may last for several hours. Please try to maintain an SSH connection. If the installation fails, run the command again.

 

 

The installation is complete. Remember the MySQL root password and press enter to restart the system.

The minimum memory for installing CentOS Web Panel is 512 MB, preferably 1 GB memory. Approximately GB space is occupied after bare metal installation
