Centos wireless NIC Driver Installation Configuration

1. Check whether the wireless NIC driver has been installed.

[[Email protected] network-Scripts] # iwconfig
Lo no wireless extensions.
Eth0 no wireless extensions.

2. view the wireless network card model.

[[Email protected] network-Scripts] # lspci | grep-I Network
. 0 network controller: Broadcom Corporation bcm4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (Rev 01)

3. view the Linux kernel version.

[[Email protected] network-Scripts] # uname-R
2.6.32-358. el6.i686

4. download and install the wireless NIC Driver
