When using the CI framework, you often encounter jump and Path Problems. site_url () and base_url () are easy to confuse. the differences between them are described below!

Assume that the base_url and index_page in the config file are defined as follows:

Config ['base _ url'] = "http://domain.com /";

Config ['index _ page'] = "index. php ";

If you use site_url ("news/php/2"), the actual url is

Http://domain.com/index.php/news/php/2

If base_url ("news/php/2") is used, the url is:

Http://domain.com/news/php2

No, base_url () missing an index. php
