This article will introduce a stupid way to find the extension point constant ID.
1. Open the IDE, then do nothing, directly close the IDE, the current working range (workspace) on the file. Metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench\workbench.xmi copy it out. 2. Open the IDE again and click Customize Perspective 3. Remove the desired hidden selection, class such as search on the toolbar, close the IDE, and then move the file on the current working interval (workspace). metadata\.plugins\ ORG.ECLIPSE.E4.WORKBENCH\WORKBENCH.XMI copy it out. 4. We now have two Workbench.xmi and compare these two files with a text comparison tool. I am using the Beyond compare tool. 5. We have found a different place, is to find that we need the ID has been shown, Org.eclipse.search.searchActionSet. It was the way I wanted to hide a toolbar, though it was stupid, but it solved the problem.
