Problem

One day I will connect to my Web server. I use FileZilla to connect to the FTP server. When I enter the host name and password to connect to the server, I get the following error.

Error: Cannot establish FTP connection to an SFTP server. Please select proper protocol.

Cause

When I saw the error message, I realized what the error was. I tried to establish an FTP connection with an SFTP server. Obviously I didn't use a correct protocol (it should be SFTP rather than FTP ).
