Eth0 problem in CentOS, eth0 becomes eth1 after copying or cloning virtual machine.

Eth1 and lo are found after using ifconfig-a

Solution:

1. Change the configuration of the NIC configuration file from eth0 to eth1:

Mv/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1

2. Change/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 divce=eth0 to divce=eth1 and delete hwadder= ... This line.

3. Restart the service:

Ifup eth1 or/etc/init.d/network restart
