1. JDK or JRE is required to run the android simulator. If JDK is not installed on your computer, download it;

<1> after downloading and installing JDK, you must configure environment variables and copy the full bin path under JDK, add the PATH variable to the system (my computer> right-click Properties> advanced> environment variables). Pay special attention to this. I have read a blog post similar to this one, the link does not remember. He said that the environment variables added to the android SDK path may be incorrect.

<2> run the SDK setup. Then, the android SDK and AVD manager are opened.

Select instal, (https://ds-ssl.google.com may be closed in China, you need to enable force HTTPS in settings: // to be... http: //. Of course, you don't have to worry about it if you are in the ingress.) You can also choose the packages required for installation. Here I will install them all.

 

 

 

It takes a while to install it all. wait patiently.

<3> Create a new virtual devices. The size is set to suit your preferences. You do not need to set the size to be too large (Block it. I will set it to 256 MB here) for fun ).

Target points to your SDK. If you place a target, you can point to it. I will select 2.2 here. Skin can be selected as needed. Here I select default and create.

Click Start after creation.

 

Loading takes several minutes, especially when you run it for the first time. Later, the startup screen will switch to an android startup animation.
