Generally, Android applications are connected to devices and computers through a USB data cable. However, this method is troublesome for applications that require USB devices, the USB interface of the mobile phone has been connected to an external USB device, and the data line cannot be connected. At this time, you can use the network TCPIP method. That is, ADB connects devices over the network without the need for USB data lines.

The specific method is as follows:

1. Connect the device with a USB cable.

2. Enter adb tcpip 5555 in the command line (5555 is the port number and can be freely specified ).

3. Disconnect the USB data and connect to the USB device.

4. Enter ADB connect <device IP address>: 5555 on the computer command line.

You can use ADB and ddms to debug Android applications or display logcat messages.

5. If you want to restore the data to the USB cable, enter adb usb in the command line.

Note: You can check the IP address of the Android device in Settings> about phone> status.
