How to install CentOS 7.0 on VMware 10

To set up a server load balancer, Centos system and local testing are required. Therefore, you have to use VMware10 as the virtual machine to install CentOS7.0 for testing. To install CentOS7.0, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the ISO package corresponding to CentOS7.0.

Step 2: installVMware10.0 virtual machine

Step 3: install CentOS7.0

1. Create a VM in the VM

2. Set the type configuration

3. Select the CentOS7.0 image file

4. Select the operating system

5. Name a virtual machine

6. Specify disk capacity

7. You are ready to create a VM.

8. Enter the virtual machine configuration page.

9. Enable virtual machine

10. Go to the CentOS installation page.

11. Installing CentOS 7.0

12. Select the system language

13. Installation Information Summary (Unbounded system)

 

For the software, I chose the basic web server with no interface.

Enable the network corresponding to the system, and the IP address is automatically obtained by DHCP.

14. Configure the root account

15. Waiting for installation

16. Installation complete

17. Centos7.0 interface

18. Test the network and USB interfaces.

The IP address and USB address are not identified. The solution is to enable the corresponding service.
