The following tutorial will teach all Ubuntu users how to install an unofficial Google cloud hard drive client named Grive on your running Ubuntu.
As you know, Google (probably hate Linux users) does not provide a Linux client for its excellent Google cloud hard drive. But don't worry. As the open-source community has some talented people like Lorenz Breda, they have developed an unofficial Google cloud disk client named Grive for Linux.
Before we install it, we remind you that the Grive application is still in the early stages of development and still has some limitations, for example, support for multiple parent-level files and folders and the ability to download Google Documents.
In addition, we should mention that Grive is a command line client with no GUI (graphical user interface). Therefore, this installation will use tools created by other Linux experts, grive Tools will automatically download, compile, and install the latest version of Grive on your Ubuntu machine.
Grive Tools supports the following Ubuntu releases: Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail), and Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander ).

Once the installation is complete, search for Grive Tools on Unity Dash and open it. Grive Tools requires you to enter your password, enter your password, and click OK. Then, Grive Tools will start to download the file and configure the latest version of Grive, which will take some time.
