The program cannot be mounted to the memory card.

This is ONE of the most well-known and silly problems in this system. It will not be able to be solved until Version 2.2 is released, but Google's nexus one is the only ONE on the market, other mobile phones are waiting ......

 

You cannot view and write text messages when there is not much space left on your phone ROM.

If you cannot install software on the memory card, the ROM space is very tight. What's more, Android will disable the text message function in some cases when the ROM space is less than 10 MB, text messages can be neither read nor written.

At this time, if you want to read or write text messages, either delete other text messages or delete software...

This is silly, and I don't know what Google thinks.

First, there is very little space for text messages. Even if one text message occupies 100 k, more than 100 messages can be saved in 10 MB, right? Is it necessary to worry? The last text message cannot even reach 1 K.

In addition, since I have received the text message, why not read it? Mobile phone ROM space is tight, not RAM (equivalent to memory) is tight, RAM still has more than MB of free space will not allow reading text messages, is that too much?

Third, text messages are the most important mobile phone functions in addition to calls. Google's silly restrictions may severely impede users from communicating with the outside world in emergencies or even critical moments.

 

Access to the vegetable market and Google services is not smooth

The connection to the food market is okay, and browsing is okay. The download becomes a problem. After being added to the download list, it is usually in the infinite waiting process, then, after a restart or network connection, you will be pleasantly surprised-they finally started downloading! Of course, there may also be tragedies, such as the download you added in the WIFI environment, but in a certain 3G environment, your traffic will burst ......

Google services may also encounter poor connections, but they may be a big task.

 

The first Google synchronization account cannot be deleted or modified.

This is a very low-level, very embarrassing BUG. After getting the camera, you must set it with caution. Once an error is set, it can only be reset to the factory status. Many people have planted this pitfall.

 

Synchronizing contacts reduces the profile resolution of local contacts.

The photo resolution of contacts on this machine is relatively high, and the resolution of Google Contacts is relatively low. After the settings and synchronization, the resolution of the local contact profile is reduced and mosaic is displayed.

I personally feel that if the contact data is the latest on the mobile phone, I should not retrieve it again from the network. This is a basic synchronization policy, and even if there is a conflict, the user should also decide the synchronous trade-off policy.

If the contacts exported through the Google contact export function are uploaded to the mobile phone for import, the names will be reversed. I wonder whether it is an example or a problem with the localization of various vendors, however, this issue does not occur if you synchronize data directly with your Google account.

 

The application management function may also be aborted abnormally.

It was detected that this problem was caused by Alibaba trademanager, but I don't know whether Alibaba's father is too strong or Android robots are too weak. I think this can be done simply by handling very simple exceptions, as an operating system, you shouldn't report an error here to users. Even if an error is reported, you shouldn't report it. It's confusing to think that the core program of the operating system is damaged.

 

Phone recording is not supported

Yes. A mobile phone that you bought for 400 yuan can be recorded on the phone, but such a high-end smartphone does not have such an ordinary function.

This defect is so incredible that when people find that they cannot record, they always think of "I won't operate", "Which button did I notice ?" , "There must be something to set", but this is indeed a design defect of Google and has always refused to correct it.

Now, all the phone recording software is recorded through the microphone. The recording effect is that your voice is huge, and the voice of the other party is almost inaudible, unless you have enabled the hands-free function during the call.

 

Simple Bluetooth features

My predecessor, Sony Ericsson, now has a brand new phone worth less than 500 yuan, but its Bluetooth function is very rich. It means sending and receiving various files and external Bluetooth headsets, you can also connect to your computer to act as a remote control, remote control of PPT slides, or remote control of Windows Media Player.

The solution to this problem is to use a software named Bluetooth assistant, but the software requires the other party to install the software when sending files; otherwise, the system prompts that the target device lacks the XXX service.

In addition, the Bluetooth discoverable mode can only be set for a period of time, and cannot be permanently set to discoverable. As a result, the Bluetooth Assistant Software always needs to frequently request users to allow the settings to be discoverable, and cannot be said to be a failure in Android.

 

The mute function cannot enable global mute.

The ring tone volume is independent from the media volume. It's okay, but after the mute mode is enabled, the ring tone is stopped. The program and the game should still sound. Isn't that logical?

It is difficult to customize ringtones, prompts, and alarms.

You can modify the music that you like your non-smartphone. The procedure is as follows:

1. connect to your computer through a USB cable

2. Select disk drive mode

3. Create a media directory on the mobile phone memory card through a computer

4. Create the audio directory in the media Directory

5. Create the alarms directory in the audio directory

6. Select your favorite songs

7. Download the format factory Software

8. Convert your favorite songs to the ogg format (I tested here that the mp3 format system can recognize them, but it cannot be played or set. After selecting the mp3 file, the system will play the default prompt)

9.modify the converted file name to a simple name, for example, music1.ogg (the system cannot identify English file names with spaces, let alone those with Asian languages)

10. Copy them to the alarms directory.

(The method for modifying the ringtones and prompts is similar, except that the directories are different. It is not clear whether mp3 and other formats are supported because you have not tried it yourself. I guess the ringtones should support mp3 formats)

In a non-smartphone, you only need to select your favorite songs on your phone on the settings page. However, the silly operations will only seem inferior to us! Right?

The alarm is invalid after shutdown.

Many people reflect this, but it does not blame Google. All applications are based on the operating system. Therefore, if you do not enable the system, you need to modify the hardware level to implement the alarm. This is not the scope of Google's work.

The solution is don't shut down, or spend 5 yuan to buy an alarm.

 

Conclusion

There is no perfect world, and we cannot require Google to do its best, but I hope Google can listen more actively to users' opinions, one of the impressions of Google is that it barely listens to user feedback, and even ignores its own mistakes. For example, if the name of a person in the Chinese version of Google Site is incorrect, it is so obvious that it has not been corrected for more than a year. I do not know if it has been corrected. Many of the telephone recording problems mentioned in this article have long been reflected many times, and Google has never made any action or statement.

Therefore, I wrote this article to urge Google to correct these details as soon as possible, so as to provide a better user experience.
