Install centos on a virtual machine

Entos Installation

I installed it with Vmware 12. The following is the installation. Open the VM homepage.

 

Select create virtual machine

 

 

Typical installation: vmwear applies mainstream configurations to the virtual machine operating system, which is friendly to new users.

Custom installation: custom installation can enhance some resources and remove unnecessary resources. Avoid resource waste.

Here I select Custom installation. Next step.

 

 

 

Select "Install later" and click "Next ".

 

 

 

You can write this name as you like. To distinguish other virtual machines, I changed the location to disk D.

 

 

 

I add 1 to all the processor configurations here.

 

 

 

Bridging: if the bridge mode is selected, the virtual machine and the host machine are in a level-1 relationship on the network, which is equivalent to connecting to the same switch.

NAT: In Nat mode, the VM must communicate with the outside through the host before connecting to the Internet.

Host only: the VM is directly connected to the host.

Shows the differences between the Internet access process in the bridge and Nat modes.

 

Select bridging here. You can also choose to change it later by default.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Default name. Next, click "custom hardware" to cancel unnecessary hardware.

 

 

Select the printer and sound card to remove the printer. At this time, the printer has been removed,

 

Click Close

 

Click Finish. The virtual machine has been created.

Configure the image file, right-click the created virtual machine, and choose settings,

 

 

Click CD/DVD (IDE), click "use ISO image file" on the right side, and browse and select the files downloaded on the official website,

 

Check the physical network connection status of network adapter replication.

 

 

Click OK. Click "enable Virtual Machine" to start operating system installation,
