1. Installation

Install dependent libraries First

Yum Install GCC GCC  Make

Download source Package Compilation Installation

wgethttp//downloads.sourceforge.net/project/ss5/ss5/3.8.9-8/ss5-3.8.9-8.tar.gzCPss5-3.8.9-8.Tar. gz/usr/local/SRCCD/usr/local/srcTarZXVF ss5-3.8.9-8.Tar. GZCD SS5-3.8.9-8./Configure Make Make Install

2. Modify the configuration file

2.1 Modifying/etc/opt/ss5/ss5.conf

VI  /etc/opt/ss5/================ ... // Cancel Line 87 Comment auth    0.0.  0.0/0   ... // Cancel Line 203 Comment Permit-        0.0.  0.0/0       -       0.0.  0.0/0   

2.2 Modify the custom port in the/etc/rc.d/init.d/ss5 file, default to 1080

// Modify Line 0.0. 0.0:10888

2.3 In/ETC/SYSCONFIG/SS5, uncomment

Ss5_opts= "-U Root"

2.4 Add authentication user and password, because the password is clear text, pay attention to control permissions.
