Install Tomcat 6

1	Yum install tomcat6 tomcat6-webapps tomcat6-admin-webapps

Start tomcat6

1	Service tomcat6 start

Stop tomcat6

1	Service tomcat6 stop

Restart Tomcat 6

1	Service tomcat6 restart

Install Tomcat 6 in the/usr/share/tomcat6/directory by default.

The default configuration file directory is/etc/tomcat6 /.

If you cannot access http: // localhost: 8080/, port 8080 is used by the firewall. The solution is as follows:

1	Iptables-A input-p tcp -- dport 8080-J accept

2	Iptables-A output-p tcp -- Sport 8080-J accept
