1. load the ISO files required for installing VMware Tools to the CD/DVD of the virtual machine, as shown in. Generally, VMWare prompts you to install VMware tool automatically, the ISO file path is as follows:

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ VMware Workstation \ Linux. ISO

2. Start to install VMware Tools. My system does not have Perl, so install it on your own.

Yum install Perl

Tar zxvf VMwareTools-9.6.2-1688356.tar.gz

CD vmware-tools-distrib

/Vmware-install.pl

3. after the installation is complete, click "Virtual Machine"> "Settings"> "options"> "shared folder" in the upper-left corner of VMware software and select "always enable ", in this way, you can copy and paste text, files, and folders between the host and the virtual machine.
