The row version should be the same. It seems that there are hvm installation methods to install different releases on the Internet, but I have not tried it. This section describes how to install centos of the same release version in semi-virtualization.

# Yum install xen kernel-xen

Images with centos
Create an HTTP server.
Ligttpd is used, which is omitted here.
Place centos5.2.iso in the HTTP root directory
Create a directory A under the HTTP root directory
Mount the ISO file to directory.
Mount-T iso9660 centos5.2.iso./A-o loop
You can see the content in centos5.2.iso in directory.
Do not forget to start Lighttpd

Install the First Virtual Machine
Virt-install-N centosa-r 256-F/Vm/centos1.img -- nographics -- vcpus 2-l http: // 127.0.0.1//
