Win7 x64 bit; vmware12;centos-6.5-x86_64-minimal
Installation and initial configuration
On the WM home page--"Create a new virtual machine"--Customize--...--Install the operating system later--slightly
Network Select NAT Mode
Hard disk selection, as a cluster 100G; Test hadoop,10g.
"Remove" the printer and sound card, (no need to minimal also can not drive/personal opinion)
Location:/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
Delete uuid and Mac
Device=eth0 type=ethernet onboot=yes nm_controlled=yes bootproto=static netmask=255.255.255.0 GATEWAY=192.168.48.2 ipaddr=192.168.48.11 dns1=192.168.48.2 dns2=8.8.8.8
Location:/etc/resolv.conf
Plus DNS
NameServer 192.168.48.1 (because DNS is already set up in eth0, it doesn't have to be set up here)
Virtual machine cloning
- Note: Select Full clone
- After cloning, to modify the IPADDR
- Modify Host Name
Vi/etc/sysconfig/network
- Remove 70-persistent-net.rules and restart
Because the original MAC address is in the 70-persistent-net.rules.
Location:/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
With rm-f XX command
Restart: Init 6
