Linux (Centos) modifies an existing user name

Not satisfied with the existing user name, such as spelling errors, user name too long, etc., can be modified using the System Management Command Systems Management Commands.

VIPW, vigr-edit the password, group, Shadow-password or Shadow-group file

VIPW,VIGR is used to modify Password,group,sheadow-password in the system, shadow-group these design rights-managed files.

When you modify only the file name of an existing user, the following:

VIPW/ETC/PASSWD//user name

Vigr/etc/group//Group name

Mv/home/oldname/home/newname//Modify User home Directory

Su newname//OK

The above operations, involving oldname are to be modified to replace.
