Find a latest version of the download, I downloaded is: git-latest.tar.xz This suffix of the file in my Linux system can not be decompressed. No need to install the appropriate decompression tools. The Wit to put under window with WinRAR decompression.

Upload to Linux. Modify git source file permissions: Chmod-r 755 git-2015-01-19/, then go to git source directory.

CD git-2015-01-19/

Autoconf

. Configure

Make

Make install

Get
