Purpose:

Output valid user IDs and group IDs

Format:

Id [OPTION]… [USERNAME]

Description:

Output the user and group information of USERNAME. the missing time indicates the current user;

Ignore, only for compatibility with other versions

-Z, -- context

Only the security context of the current user is output.

-G, -- group

Only valid group IDs are output.

-G, -- groups

Output IDs of all groups

-N, -- name

Output name, instead of number, used with-ugG

-R, -- real

Output the real ID instead of the inclutiveid, which is used with-ugG.

-U, -- user

Only valid user IDs are output.

Output help information

-- Version

Output version information

If no option is available, some useful unique information sets are output.
