32-bit operating systems can only recognize more than 3G of memory, the capacity of large memory needs to use 64-bit operating system.


The Universal partitioning scheme:

(1)/boot partition to 100M

(2) Swap partition size is twice times the memory, if your machine memory is very large (more than 8G) to 16G is enough, give more is also a waste of disk resources, 8G or 8G to the memory size of twice times

(3)/usr partition 20G

(4)/partition to 20G

(5) Leave the rest to the/data partition or customize a mount point for yourself.
