The WC command prints the newline, word, and number of bytes of the destination file. Where the number of lines = total number of rows-1, the number of words according to the space-delimited number of English words statistics, that is, continuous Chinese characters (phrases, sentences) are regarded as a word.

If the target file is not given, or the "-" symbol is given, the standard input is used as the destination file.
A word is a sequence of characters that are separated by a space that is not 0 length. The following options can be used to select what to print, and the results will always be in the following order: number of newline, word count, number of characters, number of bytes, maximum single line length.
-C,--bytesThe number of bytes to print. -M,--chars the number of characters to print. -L,--lines print the number of newline. --files0-from=F reads the file name from the F file as the input file. If f is "-", the file name is read from the standard input.
-L,--max-line-Length Prints the maximum single-line lengths. -W, --words the number of words to print. --Help
