Memory Allocation for eclipse Performance Optimization

If you think your eclipse is slow, you can modify it by modifying the % eclipse_home %/eclipse. ini file:
Adjust-XMS and-xmx memory to 512 MB (1/4 of the memory available on your local machine, 512 MB for 2 GB memory ):
-Xms512m
-Xmx512m
Add the following lines of parameters at the end of the file:
-XX: permsize = 96 m
-XX: maxpermsize = 96 m
-Xmn168m
-XX: + disableexplicitgc
After the above configuration is modified, the speed is significantly improved. For further optimization, refer to this article. Article : Optimized JVM parameters to improve eclipse running speed.
Note: We recommend that you open the eclipse WINDOW> preferences> General and select Show heap status to monitor memory usage at any time in the lower right corner.
