Mysql installation solution

Mysql cannot be installed in xp. Previously installed the amp environment. Later, the system was reinstalled. Now I have reinstalled mysql. after installation, I can connect to the database at the command prompt. However, php cannot be connected. phpinfo shows that the mysql version is 5.0X. I obviously installed 5.1X. Then I reinstalled mysql several times. Now, after installing mysql, follow the normal process to configure the last process, and then mysql cannot be installed.
