GCC 5 latest features:

  • By default, the C compiler uses GNU11 (C11) instead of GNU89 (C89 );
  • Libstdc ++ supports C ++ 11 and C ++ 14;
  • Fully supports multi-threaded OpenMP 4.0;
  • C and C ++ support Intel's Cilk Plus parallel programming interface;
  • Complete support for Go 1.4.2;
  • Support ARM Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A17;
  • Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation is supported;
  • Official support for DragonFlyBSD,
  • In addition, there are many compilation optimizations and so on.
