No vrouters, no wifi hotspots, and free access to ad-hoc in Android

Today's Android phones basically support WiFi Internet access. mobile app updates, large game downloads, and online games are all quite traffic-consuming, if there is no wireless router in the house, how can we enjoy this free network lunch? In fact, as long as a laptop is used, the mobile phone can access the Internet free of charge through ad-hoc.

How ad-hoc works
The ad-hoc mode is similar to the previous concept of direct-connection twisted pair wires. It is a point-to-point connection mode. The ad-hoc structure is a peer-to-peer network structure that eliminates the need for wireless APs, computers with wireless NICs installed can connect to each other wirelessly.

Local Settings
First, we need a laptop with a wireless network card that has accessed the network through a wired network. It serves as an ad-hoc wireless base station, then open "network connection" in the "control panel" option of the computer, right click on its "wireless network connection", and open "properties ". Click "configure my wireless network settings in Windows" in "wireless network configuration", and then click "add" to add a wireless network hotspot. The SSID can be set at will. Set "encryption" to "disabled" and "network identity authentication" to "open", and then click "OK ".

Tips: To avoid the encryption compatibility problem between the wireless network card of the mobile phone and the wireless network card of the computer, you can choose not to encrypt the network first, and then encrypt the network after debugging is successful.

Next, go back to the "wireless network configuration" tab, click "advanced", and select "computer to computer only (specific)" and "automatically connect to non-first network, click "close ". Return to "properties" of "wireless network connection" and find the TCP/IP protocol. Open it and configure the IP address and subnet mask for the wireless network card. Enter 192.168.1.4 as the IP address, 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask, and click "OK" to exit the "attribute" of "wireless network connection ".

Finally, open the "properties" of "Local Connection" of the wired network card, select the "advanced" tab, and tick the "allow other network users to connect through the Internet connection of this computer" option. At this time, the computer end is set up, and the computer enters the waiting state, waiting for the wireless network card access of the mobile phone.

Tips: Note that the above sharing steps have certain requirements for the operating system version. It is best to use the Professional Edition, family edition, and unofficial lite versions.

Using static IP addresses for wireless NICs can avoid many inexplicable faults.

Mobile phone settings
Because the wireless network interfaces of various Android phones are different, we recommend that you set the IP address of the wireless network interface to 192.168.1.10 to avoid compatibility faults between network interfaces, for other parameters, refer to computer network parameters. Then you can log on to idea explorer and replace it with the "System \ bin" directory. Note that the wpa_supplicant file does not have an extension. In addition, you only need to replace the wpa_supplicant file, rather than the whole folder that is extracted. Finally, use root explorer to modify the permissions of the wpa_supplicant file. Select the vertical "read" and "execute", and leave the three "write" unselected.

Decompress the wpa_supplicant patch to the specified directory.

Summary
After completing all the modifications, you 'd better restart your phone and enter the wireless network for a search. Then, you will find the "virtual" wireless network. If encryption is not set, click to connect to the network. However, using ad-hoc to connect two wireless NICS is highly compatible, so not all mobile phones and local NICs are applicable. If you have successfully connected to the local wireless Nic but cannot access the Internet, you can try to disable the firewall on the computer.
