About Instant client installation steps

1. First download two installation package Instant/sqlplus on the official website, unzip the relevant files, and store the local path

2. Configure The system variables in the environment variables

Oracle_home = C:\instantclient_11_2(unzip the storage path)

Tns_admin = C:\instantclient_11_2

Nls_lang = Simplified Chinese_china. Zhs16gbk

re-Modify Path variable, which is added later C:\instantclient_11_2

3. add A similar configuration file Tnsnames.ora

In the file, Notepad opens and adds the following code

(DESCRIPTION =

(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (host= 10.10.10.81) (PORT = 1521))

(SERVER = dedicated)

Modify The local database-related IP, db instance name service_name

4. Open the relevant database management tool Navicat

Tools - option -oci Configure the path of the two just unzipped as shown:

The place to note is: Do you want to see if the corresponding version of your navicat is either a level or a Download the corresponding instant/sqlplus version separately , or you will always receive the following error:
