PHP bug summary [continuous update]

1. function call

It may be because I am a newbie. I just started to learn how to compile the PHP page, but I have not yet written a controller. I called the dump () function during debugging on the page. This is what I wrote: $ dump ($ pageCount); an error is returned. The error is: php function name must be a string.

Don't spray it, it's too much food. Then I changed it to dump ($ pageCount);. The error is solved. It turns out that the '$' symbol is not added when the function is called. It seems that special symbols of programming languages cannot be blindly used.
