Play video files in AVI format in centos 6.4

1. Import related Yum sources first:

Rpm-UHV http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/x86_64/rpmforge/RPMS/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm


2. The dependency that may be required to install the relevant software may be incorrect. Ignore it:

 

Yum install libgcc GCC gcc-C ++ libstdc ++-develcompat-glibc compat-libstdc ++-33 libevent-devel


3. Install related software:

Yum install FFMPEG-devel mplayer mencoder flvtool2yamdi

After the installation is complete, click the video file in AVI format to play back the video. The default player can determine the current format and the required decoder, which is from the yum source above. Then, the related decoder will be automatically downloaded, click OK. After the installation is complete, you can play the video.
