PXE (Preboot Execute environment) is the latest technology developed by Intel Corporation, Working client/server network mode, supporting workstations to download images from remote servers over the network, and thus supporting the boot process of operating systems from the network. During its startup, the terminal requires the server to assign an IP address and then use TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) or MTFTP (multicast trivial File Transfer Protocol) The Protocol downloads a boot package into native memory and executes, and the boot package completes the terminal basic software setting to boot the terminal operating system preinstalled in the server. PXE can boot a variety of operating systems, Windows95/98/2000,linux, and so on.
