A blog is published in Windows with Windows Live writer. You can see it in Linux by name. However, there are also good clients in Linux, namely blogilo, which is part of the KDE Desktop Environment. It is installed on fedora 13 by default. Blogilo supports many blogs, such as blogger, WordPress, and csdn in China. Others are not tested by the author. Supported APIs include blogger API, metaweblog API, movabeype API, WordPress, and blogspot.com.
Although the KDE environment is required, the GNOME desktop can also run happily. See:
However, I cannot configure the csdn blog in the original blogilo of Fedora 13. I can configure it only after upgrading to the latest version with yum. I don't know whether it is a matter of character or blogilo improvement. The following describes the blog configuration process in detail (taking the csdn blog and Google Blogger as an example ):
Choose blog> Add blog:
If you do not have a csdn blog, fill in the URL field, select the metaweblog API, and click get ID. After you confirm, your csdn blog is added.
For Google blogger and WordPress blogs, you can use automatic configuration directly.
Although it is not as full as wlw functions, it is enough for general applications. The most missing feature for me is the lack of code formatting and code highlighting. If you have any good plug-ins or other software features, share them with me.
