Reset the root password for CentOS 7

1-In the Boot Grub menu, select the Edit option to start:

2-Press the keyboard e key to enter the editing interface:

3-Find the line for Linux 16 and change the RO to RW init=/sysroot/bin/sh:

4-Now press CONTROL+X, start with single user mode (there may not be a series of [OK], such as after step 9):

5-Now you can access the system using the chroot/sysroot command

6-Reset Password:passwd root

7-Update system Information: Touch/.autorelabel

8-Exit Chroot:exit

9-Restart your system reboot
