When installing the CentOS operating system on VMware Workstation, the pop-up "binary conversion is incompatible with long mode on this platform" and the following prompts appear after confirmation.
As prompted, the host supports Intel Vt-x, but is in a prohibited state.
Workaround: Turn on virtual technology technology
Restart the computer, in the presence of a computer logo quickly through the shortcut key into the BIOS, various types of motherboard startup mode, can be entered according to the operation shown.
After entering the BIOS, locate conguration--〉 to change Intel Virtual technology status from Disabled to Enabl, then F10 save to exit the BIOS.
Other computers open the virtual steps as follows:
ADVANCED--〉CPU configuration--〉secure Virtual Machine, changed to: Enabled.
If you default to enable, you do not need to change.
The virtual machine is then able to enter the normal installation process.
